Traveling Mindfully is about enjoying the journey. However, it can be difficult to remain mindful during your travels when you are on a budget and have to worry about your finances. We know all about financial struggles when traveling. It takes us time to save up for a trip and to be able to afford the gear and clothes needed for a trip. I can recall a time when my wife and I were traveling for our anniversary, and we had a tough time finding affordable swimwear. I can also recall a time when we were visiting family and were unable to secure a rental vehicle because it required a high deposit on a credit card that we did not possess at that time. This was rather embarrassing as we had to walk down the road to another vehicle rental with all of our luggage.

Therefore, we have made it our mission to find ways for more affordable and efficient traveling. We want you to be able to enjoy your time with your loved ones when you are traveling and not to have to worry about the financial aspects as much. Traveling is a great way to reconnect but when on a budget it can be difficult. Sometimes though a few insights can greatly free up some money and relieve some of the financial burden traveling can come with. Throughout our traveling experiences we have learned some methods to help save money, and travel with less stress. In this blog, we plan on sharing all of our insights, travel hacks, and money saving tips. It is our mission to provide you with information that will help you have a more efficient and mindful travel experience.

Traveling Mindfully is a personalized blog with the main focus on traveling mindfully while enjoying nature and food. We will talk about different cities around the United States and what makes them unique and interesting. Furthermore, we will go into detail about the types of accommodations these cities offer, particularly the accommodations that we stayed at. We will also talk about our experience with the local restaurants in the area and why they amazed us. This blog is a positive review blog. We will only post what we deem notable and only suggest places that we feel would add substance to your trip.

The reason for naming the site “traveling mindfully” is because we believe that with today’s rushed and fast paced lifestyle we do not always travel mindfully. We as a society seem to always be in a hurry, moving to the next event whether it be the pool, dinner or something else without being fully present. We personally feel that this dilutes the vacation experience and greatly prohibits what could be a very meaningful time to reconnect with loved ones and family. So, with that being said, we all should be present in the moment so that we can make our journey memorable. We owe it to ourselves to travel mindfully.
